Narwal Flow 2 — slim refill-and-drain configurationNarwal Flow 2 with Auto Refill & Drainage System — US manufacturer reference photo of the slim dock configuration. It does not establish plumbing equipment in the selected tank-model offer.

Automatic water supply and drainage can reduce carrying tanks, but it requires a supported hardware system and a suitable installation location. A robot with automatic mop washing does not necessarily include plumbing equipment. This guide researches Narwal Flow 2, Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller and Matrix10 Ultra. It evaluates eligibility; it does not certify any current affiliate ASIN as a complete plumbed package or provide a plumbing installation service.

Match all parts before planning the room

Start with the exact robot, station version, kit and market. A compatible robot name alone is insufficient if the kit requires a different dock. Ask for the manufacturer-approved combination in writing and compare it with the exact listing you plan to buy.

The Flow 2 US product page offers a separate slim-station refill-and-drain configuration. Its existence should not be transferred to our black Flow 2 affiliate candidate. We have not established that the candidate ASIN contains that station or plumbing hardware.

The Aqua10 Ultra Roller manual and Matrix10 Ultra manual describe a separately purchased automatic refill-and-drain kit with availability limited by region. Those statements support a possible upgrade path, not guaranteed US stock, compatibility with every station package or included installation.

Separate robot refilling from household plumbing

A tank-based station can refill the robot from its clean-water reservoir. That is different from connecting the station to the household water supply. Similarly, washing a mop and collecting dirty water in a tank is different from draining that water into a fixed outlet.

Read the configuration diagram carefully. Determine which tanks remain, which components change and what cleaning work still belongs to the owner. Automated supply and drainage do not remove dust bags, brush and filter care or all maintenance of wet components.

If the kit or variant is unavailable or not supported for your package, assess the normal tank workflow on its own merits. Do not buy assuming an unverified later conversion will solve an inconvenient tank location.

Verify the installation requirements locally

The station needs manufacturer-approved water and drainage connections, accessible power and its required placement space. Route the lines according to the exact kit instructions and check that valves, filters and connectors remain reachable for servicing.

Do not reuse a hole size, height, hose arrangement or pressure requirement from another brand or an earlier generation. This research does not establish a universal set of plumbing dimensions. Arrange a qualified installer when the work requires skills or local compliance you cannot independently verify.

Ask how the supported system handles cleaning, shutoff and maintenance access. Determine whether an inaccessible drain or supply line would force furniture or fixtures to be removed during service. Installation convenience should be assessed alongside daily operation.

Account for costs beyond the robot

Obtain separate quotes for the correct station configuration, compatible kit, necessary connection work and installation. Also check warranty and return terms for the whole combination. We do not publish a guessed kit price or assume that a catalog title proves accessory inclusion.

These models' official instructions describe core app and cleaning operations without a paid-plan activation step. We infer those documented functions are included with the equipment. Plumbing hardware and labor are purchase costs, while consumables are ongoing operating costs; neither establishes a mandatory software membership.

Make a conditional purchase decision

A plumbed station is worth investigating when carrying clean and dirty water is the main recurring chore, the supported configuration is available and the installation can remain accessible. It is a poor basis for purchase when package mapping, regional kit support or connection requirements are still unresolved.

Before ordering, obtain confirmation of the exact US robot, dock, kit and accessory list. Keep the normal tank option in the decision until those details are proved. The useful outcome is a supported complete system, not a robot whose marketing merely mentions automatic water handling.
